Again Miss Jinny interrupted. "I got your negligees and all from Mrs. Hudson this morning," she chuckled. "She knows you won't be back, and she's just as well pleased, for she's a good chance to rent your rooms right away, and I told her to go ahead. She'll keep your things till tomorrow or the next day. "She's so tremendously alive that she must need some play, and if she's only willing, we'll see that she gets it, won't we, Norn?" He paused a moment till the silence was perfect and then he said, with a pretense of reading a notice from a sheet of paper: "Oh, Miss Pat!" she cried in an ecstasy. "I've made good, and I can write to Bruce and tell him!" "I know she is; but she hates you.".
