He told the old women to move over to the bear-painted lodge and after this to live in it. It was theirs. This is hardly complimentary, but Geoffrey passes it over. The stories here told come down to us from very ancient times. Grandfathers have told them to their grandchildren, and these again to their grandchildren, and so from mouth to mouth, through many generations, they have reached our time. But all is still..
